So the charger was working! I had the car plugged into a 20 amp outlet in my garage and I was carefully monitoring each battery cell to ensure they were charging and were all maintaining a similar voltage.
Was I doing this right? I don’t know.
What I do know is I left the charger on until all the batteries were at around 3.3 volts - slightly above nominal - and I then said fuck it and tried to get it to move under its own power.
It moved! In fact, after I was comfortable with it moving back and forth in the driveway 50 times, I took it around the block. Here is proof:
